Nhu Energy Completes Cleantech Open Accelerator and Participates in Global Forum
On Nov. 10-12, 2019, Nhu Energy was among 60 companies who completed the 2109 Cleantech Open Accelerator program and attended the Cleantech Open Global Forum in Los Angeles, CA.
Cleantech Open is the world’s largest cleantech accelerator, providing entrepreneurs and corporate innovators the resources they need to launch and grow successful cleantech businesses. The innovation ecosystem built over the last 10 years of programming spans key cleantech innovation hubs in the U.S., linking labs and universities, service providers, investors, corporations, governments, and other cleantech incubators and accelerators. The annual accelerator, which Nhu Energy completed (one of only 3 from the SE US), is a rich program of customer discovery, extensive mentoring, training, investor meetings, startup-corporate matching, and showcasing at both the regional and national levels. Since 2005, more than 70% of Cleantech Open U.S. alumni companies are still operating and have collectively raised over $1.2B in external funding.
The Cleantech Open annual Global Forum, included a showcase expo, a lively series of startup pitch sessions, a curated speed dating match-up with active investors, a “Funding Trends in Cleantech” fireside chat, and two competitions—one with finalists and winners of the U.S. National Prize and another for the Global Ideas Award. Over 250 people attended the event, with more than 60 companies exhibiting their clean technologies.
